Speed, Agility, and Quickness Training

This specialized speed training program focuses on enhancing the speed and agility skills of each athlete by improving acceleration mechanics, agility, balance, and flexibility through aerobic and anaerobic training. The training program is broken up into three phases, (a) developing the acceleration, (b) developing stride and balance, (c) incoporation of technique in the specific sport of choice. Although the majority of our programs is focused on soccer players, this SAQ program is great for all athletes.  The Program provides the opportunity for an individual player, a small grouping, or an entire team to train with speed professionals of blakesoccer and affiliates.  

            GOALS OF THE PROGRAM

1. Players will develop an understanding and appreciation for the importance of warming up and stretching prior to strenuous activity


2. Players will see an overall improvement in their sport specific speed and agility upon completion of the program


3. Players will learn the proper techniques to gain an explosive first step, improve distance speed and become a stronger player


4. Players will see an immediate improvement in their balance, coordination, and overall flexibility


5. This training program can be customized to accomodate individuals, small groups, and teams.
