About Blake Soccer Academy  

 Blake Soccer Academy (BSA) is an academy style soccer school and club based in Northeastern Ohio. We are committed to providing the technical skill training in an academy style utilizing our customized player development modules. We believe that our player development modules provide players with the best opportunity of maximizing their potential. For over 7 years, we have provided players in Ohio with technical development clinics, such as the Ohio Blast Camp. Now that the Blake Soccer Academy is based in northeastern Ohio we are looking to bring the same year round services that we provide in Virginia to Ohio.

What Makes BSA Different? 

There is no program in the region that is like BSA or have a more proven track record of player development. BSA offers a unique academy training style that focuses on players developing under the guidance of multiple trainers using core development curriculum. In an academy, session players are exposed to challenge drills that test the skills being taught under match like conditions. This style allows for the proper progression of the technical skill development and the placement of the skill in actual game conditions.  

The Blake Soccer Academy is a soccer school, which all BSA coaches and trainers closely follow the same successful BSA player development program.  We have designed this player development program from various educational sources to include US Youth Soccer, USSF, NSCAA, UEFA and various youth academies. This blended and customized program is very progressive and constantly evolving. BSA is independent and not affiliated with any local soccer associations, thus making our services available to any interested player. The independence of BSA allows the training to be unbiased and geared towards total player development and not team advancement.  

 We at BSA, like many other clubs, strive to keep the training fees low as possible, so that this unique soccer opportunity is affordable for all.  Therefore, BSA offers scholarships to players with financial need. BSA works actively to raise funds for scholarships primarily through sponsorships and partnerships.

History

After coaching youth soccer in Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia, Blake Soccer Academy Founder and Director Billy Blake, decided to expand their services to northeastern Ohio. We have already conducted the Ohio Blast Summer Camp soccer camps for the past 7 years in northeastern Ohio. The success of the soccer camps and continued interest from players and their families led him to create the Blake Soccer Academy here in Ohio. The academy is modeled after soccer schools in Europe. Thus, the Blake Soccer Academy (OH) was born in 2008.

Why Choose BSA

We were created to be a player development school that supplement travel clubs, recreational clubs, high school and even premiere programs. BSA provides services that complimentary to players who are playing for a club and are in need to advance their technical skills. If you are a travel or club team player that needs environment to improve your ability to help your represent your club at the elite level, then we can help! We also field Academy Teams for those players who look to acheive a premiere level of play. Our current Academy Teams include Pride 99 (U10), Pride 97 (U12) & Pride 95 (U14).
